Orchard House Preservation

The Orchard House Preservation Plan was prepared by the author with research, historic documentation, measured drawings and specifications from several restoration, repair and development programs assembled to document former and existing conditions at the home of Concord, MA philosopher A. Bronson Alcott�s family, including noted author Louisa May Alcott. The restoration of the fragile structure, including new foundations and a climate control system, was funded by a Save America�s Treasures Grant in 2001.
